The HT Solar 420 series is a high performance N-type TOPCon bifacial monocrystalline solar panel designed for long term energy generation. It combines advanced cell technology with a robust single glass construction optimised for rooftop and ground mounted systems. With a rated power range from 420 to 440 watts and module efficiency up to 23.0 percent, this panel helps maximise output from limited roof space. The half cut cell layout reduces internal resistance and improves heat dissipation. This HT Solar 420 module also offers excellent low light response, making it suitable for residential, commercial and small utility projects where reliable yield is essential. A 30 year power warranty and extended product cover give additional peace of mind for long term investments in solar power.
High power density for limited roof space: The module delivers up to 440 watts in a compact 1722 by 1134 millimetre footprint. This allows more installed power per square metre on rooftops and carports.
Advanced N-type TOPCon reliability: N-type TOPCon cells reduce light induced degradation and deliver stable performance over time. This technology also improves low light response and overall energy yield.
Bifacial energy gain on suitable surfaces: The bifacial design can harvest reflected light from the rear side when installed above bright roofs or ground. This can increase total system energy generation compared with mono facial panels.
Strong long term warranty coverage: A 12 year product warranty is combined with a 30 year power warranty. After 30 years, power output is guaranteed at 87.4 percent of the original nameplate rating.
Robust construction for demanding climates: The panel operates between minus 40 and plus 85 degrees Celsius. An IP68 junction box, 2 millimetre glass and anodised aluminium frame help protect against moisture, dust and mechanical stress.
This TOPCon bifacial monocrystalline panel converts sunlight into electricity using high efficiency N-type cells. Light hitting the front glass surface is absorbed by the 108 half cut cells and transformed into direct current power. Additional light reflected from the roof or ground can enter the rear side, where the bifacial structure captures extra photons and increases total energy harvest. The cells are wired to optimise current collection while keeping internal resistance losses low. Power is delivered through MC4 compatible connectors to your inverter, which converts the direct current into usable alternating current for on site consumption or export to the grid. Temperature coefficients are tightly controlled, so the module maintains strong performance even in hotter conditions common in Australian and similar climates.
Half cut N-type TOPCon cells: Each cell is physically divided into two halves to reduce current in each path. Lower current reduces resistive losses and improves shade tolerance across the module strings. N-type TOPCon passivates the cell surfaces, limiting recombination losses and enhancing efficiency.
Bifacial light capture: The bifacial configuration allows the rear side to absorb light reflected from surrounding surfaces. When installed above light coloured roofs, concrete or reflective membranes, rear side gain can significantly raise annual energy yield. This design is especially useful for ground mounts and elevated commercial arrays.
Thermal management and low degradation: Improved heat dissipation is achieved through the half cut layout and optimised cell interconnection. A low Pmax temperature coefficient of around minus 0.3 percent per degree Celsius limits performance loss during hot days. The annual power degradation rate is only 0.42 percent, supporting long term, stable generation.
