This IB Solar 125W polycrystalline solar panel converts sunlight directly into usable DC electricity. When the panel is exposed to sunlight, its 36 polycrystalline cells generate electrical current through the photovoltaic effect. The generated DC power is delivered through the junction box and cables to a charge controller, inverter, or DC load. Current at maximum power reaches 6.95 A at a voltage of 18 V under standard test conditions. The open circuit voltage of 22 V and short circuit current of 7.22 A define electrical behaviour for array design. Temperature coefficients of power, voltage, and current describe how output changes as the module warms up in sunlight. Mechanical components such as tempered glass, EVA, PET backsheet, and aluminium frame protect the cells and maintain performance. The panel can be connected in series or parallel with other modules to reach required system voltage and power levels. When installed correctly, this 125W solar panel delivers clean energy that can charge batteries or feed an inverter for AC use.
