This Jingsun 132S-680 solar module converts sunlight into usable electrical energy through high efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells. Each of the 132 cells is wired together to create a powerful direct current source with a maximum power voltage of 38.6 V and current of 17.62 A under standard test conditions. When the panel is exposed to sunlight, photons strike the silicon cells and free electrons, creating an electric current that flows through the integrated conductors. The anti reflection coated tempered glass improves light transmission, while EVA encapsulant and the durable frame secure the cells in an optimal operating position. The generated power is then routed through MC4 connectors to inverters or charge controllers, where it is converted to the required AC or DC output for on site loads and grid export.
PERC monocrystalline cell operation: The panel uses PERC technology to increase internal light capture within each silicon cell. A passivated rear surface reflects unabsorbed light back through the cell, which boosts energy conversion efficiency and improves yield under varied irradiance conditions.
