How It Works

Each Navitas NS 250 polycrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity through sixty interconnected cells. When sunlight hits the multi crystalline cells, an electric field is created and current flows through the internal bus bars. The module operates at a maximum power point of 250 Wp, with 30.5 V Vmpp and 8.2 A Impp under standard test conditions. An anti reflection glass layer increases the usable light that reaches the cells, even under hazy or diffuse conditions. Generated current passes through three bypass diodes in the junction box, which protect the module during partial shading. DC power leaves the panel through pre fitted solar cables and MC4 compatible connectors and then feeds into the inverter. The inverter converts DC power into AC power that can be used on site or exported to the grid through net metering. Performance remains stable across an operating temperature range from minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius. Over decades of operation, degradation is limited, backed by a linear power warranty and strict quality control.

Photovoltaic energy conversion: The multi crystalline silicon cells absorb photons from sunlight and free electrons within the material. An internal electric field directs these electrons to form a continuous DC current, which flows at the module operating voltage and current levels defined in the electrical data.

Maximum power point operation: The NS 250 module is designed to operate close to its maximum power point through inverter MPPT tracking. With power tolerance of 0 to plus 2 percent, actual field output can slightly exceed the nameplate rating under strong irradiance, improving overall system yield.

System integration and protection: The panel connects into strings sized for up to 1500 V DC systems, reducing cabling and BOS costs. Three integrated bypass diodes limit heat build up on shaded cell strings, while the IP68 junction box and robust frame protect electrical connections against dust, moisture and mechanical stress.
