How It Works
The Novergy 330 monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through its 72 high‑quality silicon cells. When sunlight strikes the cell surface, photons are absorbed and release charge carriers inside the semiconductor layers. This process creates a direct current that flows through the panel’s internal busbars and external cables. The generated current is then routed to a solar inverter, charge controller, or DC load, depending on the system design. The inverter typically converts the DC output into AC power that can supply building loads or export energy to the grid. Throughout this process, the panel’s voltage and current characteristics at maximum power help ensure efficient operation within the selected system voltage window.
Energy generation from 72 monocrystalline cells: Each of the 72 monocrystalline cells produces a small DC voltage under sunlight. These cells are wired in series and parallel combinations to reach a Vmpp of 37.9 V and an Impp of 8.71 A. Together they provide a combined power output of 330 Wp under standard test conditions.
Voltage and current behaviour in real conditions: The panel features an open circuit voltage of 47.2 V and a short circuit current of 9.16 A. As irradiance and temperature change, the operating point shifts along the IV curve, and the inverter tracks this point to maximise delivered power.
Thermal management and performance stability: The module has a nominal operating cell temperature of 45 ±2 °C that indicates typical cell heating in the field. Temperature coefficients for power, voltage, and current describe how output changes as temperatures rise or fall around this value, supporting accurate yield estimations.
