The QPower QPM-665S solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through high efficiency PERC monocrystalline cells. Each of the 132 cells absorbs incoming solar radiation and releases electrons, creating an electric current within the silicon structure. These individual cell outputs are connected in a series and parallel layout to reach the rated voltage and current characteristics. Under standard test conditions, the module can reach a maximum power output of 665 Wp with an optimized operating point. The panel operates best near its voltage at maximum power and current at maximum power values. When connected to a compatible inverter, the DC electricity is converted into AC power for on site loads or grid export. The robust frame, glass, and junction box work together to protect the cells so this conversion process continues reliably for many years. The integrated design aims to maximize harvest while keeping system configuration simple for installers and designers.
PERC monocrystalline cell operation: PERC technology adds a passivated rear surface to each monocrystalline cell, increasing light absorption and electron capture.
