How It Works
This Rixing Electronics QJM690-132HNDG solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using high efficiency N-type TOPCon cells. Each of the 132 monocrystalline cells is interconnected to form a high power module with a rated output of 690 Wp. When sunlight strikes the cell surfaces, photons release charge carriers that are driven by the cell’s internal electric field to create current. The panel’s bifacial design allows additional light capture from the rear side when reflected from the ground or nearby surfaces. This effect can increase energy yield under suitable installation conditions. The generated DC power flows through the integrated junction box and MC4 connectors into the string wiring, then to a compatible solar inverter. The inverter converts the DC energy to AC power, which can be used on site or exported to the grid depending on system design. Thermal behaviour is stabilised by the tempered glass and frame, while optimised temperature coefficients support improved performance in hot climates and during strong solar irradiation.
N-type TOPCon cell conversion: The module uses N-type TOPCon monocrystalline cells, which have low initial degradation. These cells convert incident sunlight into direct current with a module efficiency of 22.2%. The design helps sustain performance under various lighting and temperature conditions over the panel lifetime.
Bifacial energy capture: Front and rear surfaces participate in power generation when reflective surfaces are present beneath the array. Light reaching the rear side is converted into additional current, boosting overall energy yield per module. This mechanism is especially effective in open ground mounted arrays with bright or engineered reflective surfaces.
System integration and output delivery: Current produced by the cells is collected through the busbars and directed to the IP68 junction box. From there, power is transmitted via 4 mm² DC cables and MC4 connectors into string wiring. High maximum system voltage of 1500 V supports longer strings, leading to reduced cable losses and improved balance of system efficiency.
