The S-Energy SL65-78BGJ-585S solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using high efficiency monocrystalline bifacial cells. When the front surface faces the sun, incoming photons are absorbed by the 156 cells and converted into electrical energy. At the same time, the transparent rear side allows additional light reflected from the ground or nearby surfaces to reach the cell rear. This rear side exposure increases total current, enhancing the overall module output under suitable site conditions. The panel operates at a maximum power voltage of 45.5 V and a current of 12.87 A under standard test conditions. Generated DC power then flows through the MC4 compatible connectors and 4 mm² cables into the system DC circuitry and inverter. The module is designed to perform reliably across an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, with carefully controlled temperature coefficients. These coefficients limit performance loss as cell temperature rises, protecting yield in hot climates and on high irradiance days. With a maximum system voltage of 1500 V and a 30 A series fuse rating, the panel integrates smoothly into modern string inverter architectures.
