The panel operates within an extended temperature range from -40°C to 85°C for reliable performance in harsh climates. A robust 1,500 V system voltage rating supports modern high string designs and reduces balance of system costs. The S-Energy SL65-78BGJ-600S converts sunlight into usable DC electricity using high performance bifacial monocrystalline cells. When sunlight hits the 182 x 91 mm cells on the front, photons are absorbed and create electron flow inside the silicon structure. This flow becomes direct current that is collected through the cell matrix and busbars inside the laminate. At the same time, the transparent rear side and bifacial design allow reflected and diffuse light to reach the back of the cells. This additional irradiation generates extra current, boosting overall power compared with a similar monofacial module. The module operates at a maximum power voltage of 46.3 V and a maximum power current of 12.96 A under STC. This DC output is then routed through MC4 connectors and solar cables to a compatible inverter or charge controller. The inverter converts the DC power into AC for on grid or hybrid systems, or regulates charging in DC coupled designs. Thermal coefficients are carefully controlled so power loss remains modest as cell temperatures rise during operation. Structural elements such as tempered glass, aluminium frame and backsheet protect the cells from weather and mechanical stress. Over decades, the panel continues to generate clean electricity while its warranties safeguard expected performance.
