This Selfa monocrystalline half-cut solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through high-efficiency PERC cells arranged in 120 half-cut segments. When sunlight reaches the anti-reflective tempered glass, more light is transmitted into the silicon cells thanks to the specialized surface treatment. The PERC architecture and half-cut layout reduce resistive pathways and improve current flow inside the module. The generated DC power is guided through three bypass diodes inside the IP68 junction box, limiting losses when partial shading occurs on the module surface. From there, pre-installed 4 mm² cables and MC4-compatible connectors carry the power to your inverter, where it is converted into AC electricity for on-site consumption or export to the grid. The module maintains performance across a broad operating temperature range, supported by low temperature coefficients for both voltage and power.
Monocrystalline PERC half-cut cells: Each module uses high-grade monocrystalline PERC cells, cut into half-size units to lower internal resistance and reduce power losses under operating conditions. This architecture supports higher conversion efficiency compared with many conventional full-cell designs and helps sustain strong output as the system ages.
