How It Works
This Sirius PV ELNSM54M-405-HC-HV bifacial monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through high efficiency PERC cells. When light hits the 120 monocrystalline cells, photons release electrons and generate an electrical current across the cell matrix. The bifacial design allows the rear side to use reflected light from the roof or ground, which helps increase total kWh output over the year. Optimized cell interconnection and low resistance busbars guide the current to the junction box and onward to inverters or charge controllers. Temperature behaviour, voltage and current are balanced so each string operates near maximum power point in real field conditions. Over time, slow power degradation and stable encapsulation support predictable performance for residential, commercial and light industrial projects.
Bifacial PERC cell operation: Each PERC monocrystalline cell converts direct sunlight on the front while the rear side responds to reflected irradiance. This configuration increases energy harvest without expanding the array footprint and suits bright surfaces such as white membranes, gravel or light concrete.
Maximum power tracking in strings: At standard test conditions, the module operates at 30.93 V and 13.1 A to reach 405 W. In a string, inverters use MPPT algorithms around these voltage and current values so combined modules work near their maximum power point across changing irradiance.
