The SolarEdge SPV425-R54PDTL 425W N-Type TOPCon Bifacial Monocrystalline Solar Panel is designed for high efficiency residential and commercial rooftops. This smart module integrates an S-Series power optimizer to increase energy yield from every module. Advanced N-type TOPCon cell technology helps deliver strong output even in demanding climates. The bifacial dual glass design allows the rear side to capture reflected light for additional energy. With a module efficiency of up to 21.76 percent, space is used very effectively on compact roofs. The panel is built with 108 monocrystalline half-cut cells in a robust dual tempered glass construction. This structure increases durability while supporting long term performance. SolarEdge SafeDC technology is included for enhanced safety during installation and emergencies. A 25 year product warranty and 30 year linear performance warranty give strong long term assurance. How It Works
Sunlight hits the N-type TOPCon bifacial monocrystalline cells on the front and rear surfaces of the module. The cells convert incoming light into direct current power at a rated output of 425 Wp under standard test conditions. The integrated S-Series power optimizer tracks the Maximum Power Point of the module in real time. This tracking helps keep energy harvest high under changing irradiance, temperature and shading conditions. The optimizer then feeds regulated DC power to a compatible SolarEdge inverter for conversion to AC. SafeDC technology reduces DC voltage automatically during grid loss or inverter shutdown. This reduction supports safer maintenance and emergency handling. The dual glass construction and robust junction box enable stable operation across a wide temperature range from minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius. Over the lifetime of the system, the low 0.35 percent annual degradation rate helps preserve strong energy production.
Module level power optimization: Each panel includes a pre assembled SolarEdge power optimizer. The optimizer constantly adjusts voltage and current to keep the module at its Maximum Power Point. This process limits output loss caused by partial shading or module mismatch across the array.
Bifacial energy capture: The front side of the module captures direct sunlight, while the rear side collects reflected and diffuse light. This design increases total irradiance on the cells compared with standard monofacial modules. The result is higher potential energy yield per installed watt in suitable site conditions.
Safety and monitoring integration: SafeDC technology limits high DC voltage on the roof when the system is off, supporting safer service work. Sense Connect helps identify abnormal connector heating to reduce arc risk. Module level monitoring through the SolarEdge platform provides visibility from roof to grid, allowing performance tracking and easier troubleshooting.
