How It Works
This TSEC ALPHA TOPCon module converts sunlight into usable electricity through high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells. Each N-type TOPCon cell uses advanced passivation and tunneling oxide layers to capture more photons and reduce recombination losses. When sunlight hits the 182 mm monocrystalline cells, direct current is generated and combined across the 132-cell matrix. The module’s internal wiring directs this current to the durable IP68 junction box, where three bypass diodes help protect against local shading and reduce mismatch losses. Energy flows from the panel through 4 mm² DC cables to a compatible inverter, where it is converted into grid-ready alternating current. Optimized temperature coefficients and a nominal operating cell temperature of 45±2°C help maintain more stable yields in hot climates. The result is a reliable, high-output module that supports lower system-level energy costs over decades of operation.
N-Type TOPCon cell architecture: N-type TOPCon cells use a thin tunneling oxide and passivated contact structure to improve carrier lifetime and efficiency. This design significantly reduces light-induced degradation and enhances long-term energy production compared with conventional P-type cells.
High-voltage string configuration: With a maximum system voltage of 1500V, longer strings can be designed, which cuts cabling runs and reduces combiner hardware. This high-voltage capability supports scalable arrays for commercial rooftops, industrial facilities, and ground-mount sites.
Thermal and mechanical resilience: A temperature coefficient of Pmax at -0.29%/°C limits performance loss as cell temperature rises, helping maintain strong output on hot days. The reinforced frame and high mechanical load design protect cells and glass, preserving performance under snow, wind, and handling stresses.
