How It Works

This Upsolar monocrystalline PERC panel converts sunlight into usable direct current electricity through 120 precision engineered solar cells. Each M10 cell is divided into half cut segments, which reduces internal resistance and helps efficiency be increased under real operating conditions. When light hits the anti reflection coated tempered glass, more photons reach the PERC cell surface and rear structure. The generated current is collected by fine busbars and carried through the EVA encapsulant to the laminated cell strings. From there, power flows into the IP68 junction box, where three bypass diodes protect performance under partial shading. Standard MC4 connectors and 4 mm2 cables then deliver energy safely to your inverter, where it is converted into alternating current power for on site consumption or export to the grid.

PERC monocrystalline cell conversion: The panel uses high efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells that enhance light absorption and electron collection. A passivated rear surface reflects unused light back into the cell, improving conversion efficiency without needing additional area.

Half cut 120 cell architecture: Each of the 60 full cells is laser cut into two halves to create 120 smaller cells. This configuration lowers resistive losses, reduces operating temperatures, and helps power output remain more stable across the module.

Junction box, cabling, and system integration: Inside the IP68 junction box, three bypass diodes allow current to flow around shaded or weak cell strings, limiting mismatch losses. Factory fitted MC4 connectors and 4 mm2 cables enable quick, low resistance string assembly and straightforward integration with compatible inverters.
