This Waaree Bi-11-390 solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity using high efficiency mono PERC bifacial cells encapsulated in a dual glass structure. When sunlight hits the front glass surface, photons are absorbed by the monocrystalline cells and released as electrical energy via the photovoltaic effect. The bifacial configuration also allows the rear side to capture reflected and diffuse light from the ground or nearby surfaces, increasing the overall energy harvest. Electrical connections run through an IP68 rated junction box and MC4 compatible connectors, allowing the panel to integrate safely within series and parallel strings. Once connected to an appropriate inverter, the generated DC power is converted to AC for use in homes, businesses, or to export to the grid.
Front-side mono PERC power generation: The monocrystalline PERC cells on the front face capture direct sunlight and generate DC current at standard test conditions. Optimized cell design and 40.61 V maximum power voltage help deliver a 390 Wp output with strong performance at 1000 W/m² irradiance.
Rear-side bifacial energy gain: The transparent dual glass structure exposes the rear side of the cells to ambient and reflected light. When installed over bright or reflective surfaces, this rear-side exposure increases currents beyond front-only operation, enhancing annual energy yield per installed module.
