How It Works

The Blue Smart IP65 Charger operates through advanced algorithms that control the charging process distinctly for each battery type. Each stage of the charging cycle€”bulk, absorption, and float€”is automatically managed to secure optimal battery condition and performance.

Charging Stages

The charger goes through several stages: it quickly charges the battery with maximum current until the absorption voltage is reached, then continues charging at a constant voltage until fully charged, and finally maintains the battery at float voltage to keep it healthy.

Recovery Functionality

This unique functionality allows the charger to attempt to recharge batteries that have dropped to extremely low voltages, a feature not provided by many competitors. It employs low current to slowly build the battery voltage back to a normal level.

Low Current Mode

For applications requiring gentler charging, users can switch to low current mode. This is ideal for maintaining battery health during prolonged connection scenarios, minimizing the risk of overheating and overcharging.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
