The Amso Solar AS330-72 panel converts sunlight into usable electrical power through its 72 polycrystalline solar cells. When sunlight reaches the tempered glass surface, photons pass through and strike the semiconductor material inside each cell. This energy frees electrons and creates direct current, which flows through internal busbars and external connectors. System wiring routes the current into a charge controller or grid tied inverter, depending on the system type. The inverter then converts the direct current into alternating current suitable for household appliances or grid export. Throughout this process, temperature coefficients and electrical parameters determine how much power is delivered under real outdoor conditions.
Light capture and DC generation: The 72 polycrystalline cells are arranged to maximize exposure to sunlight across the module face. As sunlight hits each cell, a direct current is generated at a voltage defined by the cell string. The combined array of cells produces a maximum power of 330 watts under standard test conditions.
