How It Works

The ATI 230 polycrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into direct current electricity using its 60 photovoltaic cells. When sunlight reaches the cell surface, electrons are released and guided through internal circuits to create electrical current. The panel is connected into a string with other modules to reach the desired array voltage and current. Direct current from the panel strings is routed through cables to an inverter that sits nearby.
