The Beeland BL-SP250 250W polycrystalline solar panel is designed as a reliable workhorse for residential, commercial, and small industrial rooftops. With a power class of 250 Wp and panel efficiency of 15.2 percent, it offers a strong balance of energy yield, durability, and value. Each module uses 72 high quality crystalline cells, engineered to maintain dependable output even under weak or diffuse sunlight conditions. A rugged anodized aluminium frame, 3.2 millimetre tempered glass, and high grade EVA and TPT layers help protect the module in demanding environments. The BL-SP250 is produced by Zhuhai Beeland Solar Technology Co., Ltd in China, under strict ISO certified quality management standards. This framed module is well suited for off grid systems, hybrid setups, and grid tied arrays where stable performance and proven technology are required.
Dependable 250W power output: The BL-SP250 delivers a rated maximum power of 250 Wp at standard test conditions. This output level supports a wide range of rooftop and ground mount system sizes. Stable DC production helps inverters operate in an efficient range across the day.
Optimised polycrystalline cell design: High efficiency crystalline cells are used to convert sunlight into electricity with consistent performance. Even under weak light or cloudy conditions, the module is engineered to maximise energy harvest. This makes it suitable for varied climates and orientations.
Rugged mechanical construction: A 3.2 millimetre tempered glass front and anodized aluminium alloy frame protect the cells from impact and weather. The module has passed mechanical load testing up to 5400 Pa, supporting high wind and snow regions. Corner connections without exposed screws help resist long term corrosion.
Long term power retention: Power output degradation is controlled to 0.8 percent per year on average. Not less than 90 percent of rated power is maintained after 10 years of operation. After 25 years, not less than 80 percent of original power is warranted, supporting stable lifetime yields.
Reliable protection and easy installation: The IP68 junction box with integrated bypass diodes offers strong protection against moisture and hot spot risks. Standard MC4 compatible connectors and 900 millimetre output cables simplify series and parallel string wiring. Six mounting holes in the frame streamline installation on rails or brackets.
The Beeland BL-SP250 operates by converting sunlight directly into DC electricity through its polycrystalline silicon cells. Each of the 72 cells generates a small voltage when exposed to sunlight, which combines to produce the module’s rated voltage and power. The module is optimised for operation at a maximum power voltage of 36.8 volts and a current of 6.79 amperes, yielding 250 Wp under standard test conditions. When wired into a string with other panels, the DC output feeds a compatible inverter or charge controller, which then manages power conversion and battery charging if used. Protective layers of EVA, TPT, tempered glass, and the IP68 junction box ensure the electrical components remain sealed from dust, moisture, and mechanical stress throughout decades of outdoor service.
Sunlight capture and DC generation: Incoming sunlight strikes the 156 by 130 millimetre polycrystalline cells and excites electrons within the silicon material. This process produces a direct current and sets the module’s open circuit voltage at approximately 44.07 volts. When connected to an electrical load, the operating point stabilises near the maximum power voltage of 36.8 volts, where the module delivers its rated 250 Wp output.
Thermal behaviour and power stability: The BL-SP250 is designed for operation from minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius. Its nominal operating cell temperature is 47 degrees Celsius plus or minus two degrees. Temperature coefficients define how performance changes with heat, with Pmax decreasing by about 0.47 percent per degree above STC. The Voc coefficient of minus 0.35 percent per degree and Isc coefficient of plus 0.04 percent per degree help predict real world output across seasons.
Protection, wiring, and system integration: An IP68 rated junction box houses bypass diodes that protect the panel from hot spots caused by partial shading. These diodes allow current to flow around shaded cell strings and reduce local heating. Pre attached 4 square millimetre cables and MC4 type connectors allow easy connection into series strings up to a maximum system voltage of 1000 volts DC. The panel then connects to inverters, optimisers, or charge controllers that manage conversion from DC to usable AC power or stored battery energy.
