How It Works
This N-type TOPCon bifacial monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into electricity through high efficiency photovoltaic cells encapsulated between two tempered glass layers. When sunlight strikes the front surface, photons are absorbed by the N-type cells and generate direct current that flows through the integrated busbars and cables. At the same time, the bifacial architecture enables the rear side to harvest additional light reflected from the roof, ground or surrounding surfaces, further increasing overall output. The module operates reliably across a wide temperature range from minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius and is optimized around a nominal operating cell temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. Electrical safety and performance are supported by the 1500 volt system rating, IP68 junction box and three bypass diodes that help mitigate losses due to partial shading. Once installed in a properly designed photovoltaic system with a compatible inverter, the generated DC power is converted into usable AC electricity for on site consumption or export to the grid, depending on local regulations and system design.
Front side N-type TOPCon power generation: The front glass layer admits sunlight onto 96 N-type TOPCon mono cells, arranged in two groups of six by eight half cells. These cells feature naturally stable performance without initial light induced degradation, which helps deliver strong output from the first day and throughout the module lifetime.
Rear side bifacial energy gain: The rear glass surface remains active, capturing light reflected from bright or reflective surfaces such as white membranes, light concrete or snow. Depending on site conditions, this effect can provide up to 30 percent additional yield compared with a similar monofacial panel, improving system energy harvest and project economics.
Thermal and electrical optimization in operation: The module uses a low temperature coefficient of power at minus 0.30 percent per degree Celsius to limit performance losses in hot climates or during summer peaks. Three integrated bypass diodes in the IP68 junction box reduce the impact of partial shading and cell mismatch, helping maintain stable current flow to the inverter and improving real world system reliability.
