How It Works
Inside the Beyondsun TSBHNM450-96HTG solar panel, advanced N-type monocrystalline cells convert sunlight into clean DC electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Each cell is engineered with TOPCon technology to reduce electron loss and increase carrier lifetime, which helps boost efficiency and long term stability. The module uses a bifacial dual glass layout, so both the front and rear surfaces can capture useful light. Direct sunlight strikes the front glass, while reflected and diffuse light reaches the rear through the transparent back glass layer. The generated DC current flows through an integrated junction box with three bypass diodes, which support safer and more stable operation under partial shading. From there, solar cables and PV connectors deliver the power to a compatible inverter, where it is converted into AC electricity for homes or commercial loads. The robust frame, IP68 junction box, and wide operating temperature range ensure dependable performance across diverse climates and installation types.
N-type TOPCon monocrystalline cell operation: The panel uses 96 N-type mono cells sized 182×105 mm arranged in a 2×(6×8) layout. These cells feature TOPCon passivated contacts that reduce recombination losses and support higher conversion efficiency.
Bifacial dual glass energy capture: Light enters through the 2.0 mm coated tempered front glass and reaches the cell surface for primary generation. Additional light reflected from the roof or ground passes through the 2.0 mm rear glass, where the bifacial cells harvest extra energy to raise total output.
Power delivery and system integration: Current from the cells is collected through busbars and directed to the IP68 junction box with three bypass diodes, which help limit power loss under shading. Factory fitted 4 mm² cables and PV connectors then link the module to string circuits and a suitable inverter within a 1500 V DC system.
