How It Works

Sunlight strikes the polycrystalline PERC cells on the front of the EA 345W solar panel and is converted into direct current electricity. Additional light that reaches the rear side of the bifacial module is also harvested, which increases overall energy yield when suitable mounting conditions are used. The panel operates at an optimum point near its voltage at maximum power and current at maximum power to deliver stable output through the connected inverter. The anti reflection coated tempered glass improves light transmission into the cell surface while protecting the module from impact and weather. Within the junction box, diodes manage current flow and reduce power loss under partial shading. The resulting DC electricity is routed through connectors into your system wiring, where an inverter converts it to usable AC power for on site loads or grid export.

Front side energy capture: The front surface uses polycrystalline PERC cells arranged in 144 half cells to maximize the active area. Under standard test conditions the module reaches a maximum power of 345 watts with a voltage at maximum power of 38.3 volts and current at maximum power of 9.01 amps.

Rear side bifacial gain: The bifacial architecture allows the rear side to convert reflected and diffuse light that strikes the back of the panel. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues.
