The EGing EG-685NT66-HU/BF-DG 675W N-Type TOPCon bifacial solar panel is engineered for high output commercial and utility projects where every square meter matters. This advanced module combines N-Type TOPCon cell technology, bifacial generation and a 132 half-cell layout to deliver strong performance in a compact footprint. With a maximum power rating of 675 Wp and module efficiency up to 21.72 %, it is ideal for space constrained rooftops and high yield ground mounts. Power is maintained through a low total degradation rate of 0.42 % per year, supported by a 30 year linear power warranty. Robust construction with 2 mm glass, an anodized aluminium frame and IP68 junction box ensures durability in harsh climates. High power density: Each module delivers up to 675 Wp, allowing more installed capacity on the same structure. This helps reduce balance of system costs per watt and simplifies array design for large projects.
Advanced N-Type TOPCon cells: N-Type TOPCon technology offers lower degradation and better temperature behaviour than conventional P-type cells. Stable long term generation is supported even under high irradiance and hot conditions.
Bifacial energy gain: The bifacial design captures light from the front and rear sides for higher total yield. Backside power gain increases kWh output without increasing module footprint or support structure count.
Proven durability and protection: An IP68 junction box, anodized aluminium frame and 2 mm glass support long field lifetimes. The module is rated for 1500 V systems with a 30 A series fuse rating for design flexibility and enhanced safety.

This N-Type TOPCon bifacial solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using advanced mono crystalline cells connected in a 132 half cell layout. Front side irradiance is captured by the main active surface while rear side cells use reflected and diffuse light from the ground or roof. Multi busbar cell design reduces electrical resistance and improves current collection, resulting in higher power at the same irradiance level. The module operates efficiently across a wide temperature range, supported by a temperature coefficient of -0.3 % per degree Celsius for Pmax. When connected to a compatible string or central inverter, the module’s DC power is combined and converted to AC for site consumption or grid export. Over its lifetime, degradation is tightly controlled, so energy yield remains strong even in the later years of operation.
N-Type TOPCon cell architecture: N-Type TOPCon cells feature a passivated contact structure that reduces recombination losses. This design allows higher efficiency and better performance under high irradiance and elevated module temperatures. Because N-Type cells are less prone to light induced degradation, output remains more stable during the first years of operation and beyond.
Bifacial generation from front and rear: The glass and cell layout allow light to reach both surfaces of the module. Direct sunlight is captured on the front, while reflected light from bright surfaces increases rear side current. This bifacial gain can raise total energy yield compared with monofacial modules, especially on high albedo surfaces like concrete, white roofs or light gravel.
Optimised electrical performance and safety: At standard test conditions, the module delivers 675 Wp with a Vmpp of 39.43 V and Impp of 17.12 A. The open circuit voltage is 47.22 V and short circuit current reaches 18.14 A, enabling efficient string design in 1500 V systems. A 30 A series fuse rating supports reliable protection coordination with upstream devices.
Thermal behaviour and operating range: The module is designed to operate between -40 °C and 85 °C for global deployment. A temperature coefficient of Voc at -0.25 % per degree Celsius and Isc at 0.04 % per degree Celsius keeps performance predictable. Typical nominal operating cell temperature is around 44 ± 2 °C, supporting stable daily output under field conditions.
