The Exiom Solution EX140P-36 polycrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable direct current power using 36 interconnected solar cells. When photons from sunlight strike the polycrystalline cells, an electric field is created and electrons begin to flow through the circuit. This flow appears as current, which is delivered at the panel terminals and directed toward a charge controller, inverter, or battery bank. At standard test conditions, the module produces a maximum power output of 140 watts at 17.83 volts and 7.85 amps. The high-transmittance glass and optimized cell layout help maintain strong energy capture across the day. Once integrated into a solar system, the panel forms part of a string or array that feeds DC power into an inverter, where it is converted into AC power for loads or export to the grid. The panel’s temperature coefficients, robust frame, and 1500 volt system rating ensure stable operation across a broad range of climates and installation types.
Energy generation from sunlight: The 36 polycrystalline cells are wired in series to reach the required operating voltage.
