How It Works

The PM0145 module converts sunlight into clean direct current power through its 36 interconnected polycrystalline cells. Each 156 by 156 millimetre cell generates voltage when exposed to light, and the cells are wired to deliver a practical operating voltage near 18.47 volts at maximum power. The tempered low iron glass admits high levels of solar irradiance while protecting the cell matrix from impact and moisture. Encapsulant EVA securely bonds the cells to the PET backsheet and frame, maintaining alignment and insulation over time. Radox connectors and one metre DC cables allow simple series or parallel wiring into strings that feed a charge controller or inverter. By following correct design practices, the panel becomes part of a system that charges batteries or supplies AC power for homes and businesses. Protection features like bypass diodes in the junction box help reduce power loss when some cells experience shading or dirt. This design enables consistent daily energy harvest in diverse weather conditions.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it.
