How It Works

The SC SF595M10 PERC monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using high efficiency silicon cells connected in series. When the panel is exposed to sunlight, photons strike the PERC monocrystalline cells and free electrons inside the semiconductor material. These electrons flow through an internal circuit, creating a direct current that can power loads once converted by an inverter. The module operates within a rated system voltage of up to 1500 V, making it compatible with modern string and central inverters. Its optimized voltage at maximum power and current at maximum power simplify array design and help achieve strong performance at both residential and utility scales. Carefully selected materials, including tempered glass, an anodized aluminium frame, and an IP68 junction box, protect the cells and internal wiring from moisture, dust, and mechanical stress during daily operation. Over time the built in power warranty structure ensures that a predictable energy yield is provided across the full lifecycle of the array.

PERC monocrystalline energy conversion: The panel uses PERC monocrystalline cells that capture sunlight on the front surface and reflect unused light back into the cell. This design increases the chance that photons generate electricity and improves conversion efficiency compared with conventional cell structures.

Series connected cell string operation: A total of 156 cells are interconnected to form a high voltage DC source that feeds into the system wiring. The combined output creates specified values such as a Voc of 53.87 V and Vmpp of 44.57 V for the 595 Wp configuration.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
