The Smart Solar Technologies SS465M10GH-20/UH solar panel converts sunlight into electricity using advanced N-Type TOPCon bifacial cells. Each of the 120 half-cut cells uses multi busbar technology to reduce electrical resistance and improve current collection across the cell surface. Sunlight striking the full black front glass is absorbed by the N-Type mono cells, generating direct current that flows through the 16 busbars and interconnections. At the same time, the bifacial architecture captures reflected and diffuse light from the rear side when installed over bright or reflective surfaces. This rear side contribution increases overall energy yield without adding extra panel area to the array. The dual glass structure encapsulates the cells, protecting them from moisture ingress and potential induced degradation under high system voltages. Generated DC power then flows through the IP68 rated junction box and cables toward the inverter. The inverter converts the DC power into AC electricity that can supply building loads or feed the grid. Throughout operation, temperature coefficients and optimized cell design help maintain strong performance under real world conditions.
N-Type TOPCon half-cut cell architecture: The panel uses 182 x 91mm N-Type mono cells with TOPCon technology to reduce recombination losses. Half-cut cell layout limits resistive losses and improves shade tolerance by splitting the module into parallel operating sections.
