This advanced panel combines N-type TOPCon cell technology with integrated S-Series Power Optimizer hardware for maximum energy harvest on every roof. With module efficiency up to 22.02%, it delivers strong power density in a compact 1722 x 1134 mm format suitable for residential and commercial projects. The module uses bifacial, dual tempered glass construction to capture light from both sides, improving real world energy yield. SolarEdge Smart Modules are engineered to work seamlessly within the SolarEdge Home ecosystem, creating a fully optimized DC coupled system. Key Benefits

How It Works
The SolarEdge SPV430-R54PDTL solar panel converts sunlight into electricity using high efficiency N-type TOPCon monocrystalline cells. Each module integrates an S-Series Power Optimizer that performs maximum power point tracking at the module level. DC power generated on the front and rear glass surfaces is continuously adjusted to extract the highest possible output under changing conditions. This optimized DC power is then sent to a compatible SolarEdge inverter, which converts the energy into AC electricity for home or business use. SafeDC functionality is designed to reduce string voltage automatically when AC power or the inverter is shut down, supporting safer installation and maintenance. The module is designed to operate in harsh climates, with stable performance across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
Module level DC optimization: The integrated S-Series Power Optimizer performs real time MPPT on each smart module. This means output is maximized for every panel, even when some modules experience shade or orientation differences. Energy loss from mismatch is reduced, and array design gains extra layout flexibility.
Bifacial dual glass energy capture: The panel uses bifacial cells laminated between two 1.6 mm tempered glass layers. The front side absorbs direct sunlight while the rear side uses reflected and diffuse light from nearby surfaces. This configuration enables additional rear side power, increasing total kilowatt hour generation over the system lifetime.
Smart safety and monitoring: SafeDC technology is designed to drop the string voltage to a safer level whenever AC power or the SolarEdge inverter is turned off. Sense Connect helps detect abnormal connector temperature rises and can trigger alerts before damage occurs. System and module performance can be viewed through the SolarEdge monitoring platform, giving full visibility from the roof to the grid.
