The SolarSpace SS9-60HD-605M bifacial dual glass module converts sunlight into usable DC power using high efficiency monocrystalline PERC half cells. Light strikes the anti reflective coated front glass, passes into the silicon cells, and is converted into electrical current through the photovoltaic effect. The bifacial design also enables rear side generation, where light reflected from the ground or roof surface passes through the back glass and contributes to additional current. Internal busbars collect this current and feed it into the integrated junction box, which routes power through MC4 compatible connectors to the system string wiring. Under standard test conditions, the 605W variant operates at a maximum power voltage of about 35V and a maximum power current of around 17.31A. System designers can configure strings up to 1500V, allowing efficient array layouts in commercial and utility installations.
Mono PERC half cells: The panel uses 120 mono PERC half cells arranged in a 6x20 configuration to reduce resistive losses and improve performance under partial shading. Each half cell operates at lower current, lowering thermal stress and delivering higher reliability during long term operation.
Bifacial dual glass construction: Front and rear 2.0mm semi tempered glass sheets protect the cells while allowing light transmission from both sides. Rear side power gain can range significantly depending on the albedo of the installation surface, enhancing total energy generation for ground mounted and flat roof systems.
