The Solarvatio SV-360 MONO-5-72UL solar panel converts sunlight into usable direct current electricity through high efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells. Each of the 72 cells is wired in a series parallel layout inside the module to reach an optimal operating voltage and current for common 1000 volt systems. When sunlight hits the silicon cells, photons dislodge electrons and create an electric current that flows through the internal conductors and out through the junction box cables. The panel operates most efficiently around its rated voltage at maximum power of 37.5 V and current at maximum power of 9.36 A. In real installations, one or more panels are connected together and then paired with an inverter that converts the DC output into grid compatible AC power.
Monocrystalline PERC energy conversion: The panel uses monocrystalline cells built with passivated emitter and rear contact technology, known as PERC. This structure improves light trapping and reduces electron recombination, which helps raise real world efficiency. The result is more power from the same surface area, especially when sunlight is not perfectly perpendicular to the module.
Optimized electrical operating point: Under standard test conditions, the module reaches its 360 Wp rating at 37.5 V and 9.36 A, which defines its maximum power point. Modern inverters track this point continuously through MPPT algorithms to keep the panel operating as close as possible to its ideal voltage and current. This approach helps maintain high energy harvest, even with irradiance and temperature changing during the day.
