How It Works
This TSEC TS66-CMH-545 H1 solar panel converts sunlight into usable direct current electricity using advanced N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline cells. Each of the 132 cells is interconnected and laminated under tempered glass to protect it from weather while allowing maximum light transmission. When sunlight strikes the 182 millimeter cells, photons are absorbed and free electrons are generated within the silicon structure. The built in electric field within each cell drives these electrons toward the conductors, creating current that flows through the module cables. Under standard test conditions the panel delivers a maximum power of 545 watts at around 40.78 volts DC and 13.37 amps. The module is then wired in series and parallel strings to build higher system voltages, often up to 1500 volts, which are suited to commercial scale inverters. Optimized temperature coefficients and low light behavior help maintain stable output across real world operating conditions, from cold bright days to hot summer afternoons.
N-Type TOPCon cell architecture: The monocrystalline TOPCon cells use a thin tunnel oxide layer and passivated contacts to reduce recombination losses and improve carrier collection. This design increases efficiency and supports additional energy yield compared to many standard P-Type cells under the same irradiance conditions.
Optimized electrical operating point: At maximum power, the module operates at a voltage of 40.78 volts and a current of 13.37 amps, which gives a strong balance between string length and inverter compatibility. Modern inverters track this operating point using maximum power point tracking, ensuring that the array consistently runs at or near its most efficient point during the day.
Durable module construction and safety: The front glass, encapsulant, backsheet, and anti salt mist frame work together to seal the cells from moisture, dust, and mechanical stress while still allowing efficient heat dissipation. An IP68 junction box with three bypass diodes manages current flow and reduces shading losses, while the 1500 volt rating and Class II protection help the panel integrate safely into modern high voltage systems.
