How It Works

This TSEC TS66-CMH-555 H1 solar panel converts sunlight into direct current electricity through high efficiency N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline cells. Each of the 132 cells is wired together to form a 6x22 module layout that optimizes voltage and current for 1500V systems. When sunlight hits the silicon cells, photons excite electrons and create an electric current that flows through the panel’s busbars and out through the EVO 2 compatible connectors. The resulting DC power is then routed to an inverter, which converts it into AC power suitable for on site consumption or grid export. The module’s low temperature coefficient values help maintain higher power output as cell temperatures rise during sunny days. Under low irradiance conditions, the advanced cell structure and anti reflective coated glass enhance light capture, supporting more stable production from dawn to dusk. An integrated IP68 junction box with three bypass diodes helps protect performance if part of the module is shaded, keeping energy production as high as possible within the string.

N-Type TOPCon cell operation: N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline cells use a passivated contact structure that reduces electron recombination, allowing more charge carriers to reach the busbars. This design supports higher efficiency, lower degradation, and better performance at elevated temperatures than many conventional cell types.

Module layout and electrical output: The 6x22 cell arrangement is configured to deliver a maximum power voltage of about 41.04V and a maximum power current around 13.53A under standard test conditions. This balance of voltage and current delivers 555W output while keeping resistive losses lower within strings and system wiring.

Protection and durability in operation: Front PV coated glass, a durable backsheet, and an anti salt mist frame protect the cells against moisture, dust, and corrosion over decades of use. The IP68 junction box and three bypass diodes support stable output in partial shading scenarios, helping to reduce hot spot risk and improve long term reliability.
