How It Works
The Access Solar ASL-P24310 converts sunlight into electricity using the photovoltaic effect within its 72 polycrystalline cells. When photons strike the cell surface, they excite electrons to create a flow of direct current electricity. This direct current is then collected by the internal busbars and routed through the junction box for external connection. The panel's design ensures minimal energy loss during transmission while maintaining high efficiency under varying light conditions. The tempered glass front layer protects the cells while allowing maximum light penetration for optimal power generation.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the polycrystalline silicon cells to release electrons and generate electrical current. This process occurs instantly when light strikes the cell surface.
Current Collection: Released electrons flow through internal conductors to the busbars for efficient current collection. The busbars then direct the current to the junction box for external use.
Power Conversion: The collected direct current is converted to usable electricity for your home or business systems. An inverter later transforms this direct current into alternating current for standard appliances.
