    Battery temperature compensation — the accuracy delta

    Off-grid batteries — flooded lead-acid, sealed AGM, LFP — have charge voltage set points that shift with battery temperature. Bulk voltage rises ~3 mV per °C per cell below 25 °C and drops the same amount above. On a 48 V bank (24 cells) that's ~72 mV per °C — over a 20 °C swing that's a 1.4 V shift on bulk / absorption. Live View Local runs over Ethernet for direct browser monitoring without cloud dependency.     The Radian GS8048A + FLEXmax + MATE3s + HUB10.3 is a single-vendor stack with unified programming, monitoring, and firmware. Mixing brands in this ecosystem loses the MATE3s advantage.

    If the site is telecom / industrial with third-party SCADA, spec Morningstar TriStar.

    TriStar exposes MODBUS RTU + MODBUS TCP + EIA-485 natively. Any third-party network management system can pull real-time V/A/W without OutBack-proprietary translation.
