PES Supply — Authorized LED Lighting Distributor
Direct distributor for Lithonia, Cooper Lighting, Hubbell, RAB Lighting, WAC Lighting, Sylvania, Feit Electric, Ledvance, Hyperikon, MaxLite, TCP, Keystone, Satco, Westinghouse — 357 SKUs stocked. Contractor pricing tiers, pallet freight, full manufacturer warranty. Registered contractors get load-balance and voltage-drop tools inside the PES contractor portal.

PES Supply is a direct-distributor for 13+ LED lighting brands. Our Louisville, KY warehouse stocks 357 LED lighting SKUs across high-bay, low-bay, wall packs, area lighting, roadway/parking, canopy, downlights, panels, strips, drivers, and controls. Every fixture ships with full manufacturer warranty and dedicated tech-line escalation. This hub covers what LED families exist, which brands own which application, and how to spec each — so a contractor can walk from "warehouse retrofit at 50,000 lumens per fixture" to a signed PO in one session.

LED product families — what PES stocks

Every commercial and industrial LED design routes to one of eleven fixture families. The classification matters because it changes the mounting hardware, driver rating, and lumen envelope you spec against.

Family Typical mounting Lumen range Common application Volume PES brands
High-bay 15 – 45 ft ceiling suspended 15,000 – 60,000 lm Warehouses, distribution, factories, gyms Hyperikon, MaxLite, TCP, RAB, Satco
Low-bay 8 – 15 ft ceiling suspended 4,000 – 20,000 lm Retail, small manufacturing, service bays Feit Electric, TCP, MaxLite, Ledvance, Sylvania
Wall pack Building exterior wall-mount 2,500 – 20,000 lm Building perimeter, security, dock doors RAB Lighting, Cooper, Hubbell, Ledvance, Feit
Area / shoebox 15 – 40 ft pole-mount 10,000 – 60,000 lm Parking lots, campus roadways, industrial yards RAB, Cooper, Lithonia, Keystone, TCP
Roadway / cobra head Municipal pole-mount (davit arm) 8,000 – 40,000 lm Streets, highways, arterials Cooper, Hubbell, RAB
Canopy Under-canopy flush-mount 3,000 – 15,000 lm Gas stations, drive-throughs, parking decks RAB, Cooper, Sylvania, Hubbell
Parking garage Ceiling flush-mount (low-profile) 5,000 – 20,000 lm Multi-level parking structures Sylvania, Cooper, RAB, Feit
Downlights Recessed can, 4 in / 6 in / 8 in 800 – 4,000 lm Offices, hospitality, retail, residential Lithonia (CPX), Ledvance, Keystone, WAC
Panels / troffers 2×2 / 2×4 lay-in ceiling grid 3,500 – 6,000 lm Offices, schools, healthcare Lithonia (CPANL, CPX), RAB, TCP, LEDVANCE
Linear strips 4 ft / 8 ft surface or suspended 3,000 – 12,000 lm General commercial, retail, warehouses Hubbell, WAC, Hyperikon, Keystone
Drivers + controls Independent driver modules, occupancy sensors, dimmers N/A Full-system retrofit, 0-10V dimming, DALI, KNX Ledvance, WAC, Lutron-compatible

Two patterns worth flagging: (1) Lithonia (Acuity Brands) owns the commercial troffer / CPANL / CPX segment by unit volume — 2×2 and 2×4 recessed panels are the largest fixture category in commercial retrofits; (2) RAB Lighting, Cooper, and Hubbell dominate the exterior area/wall pack/roadway segment where UL wet-location listing and IP65+ sealing matter. Interior and exterior are effectively two different product taxonomies.

Commercial vs residential vs industrial — spec by segment

    Residential — energy-efficiency retrofit

Residential LED work is dominated by A-shape and BR-shape screw-in retrofits, PAR16/20/30/38 track and can-light retrofits, and 4-inch / 6-inch downlight replacements. Feit Electric, Sylvania, and Ledvance own the residential-branded volume; Lithonia CPX and Keystone downlights carry the contractor market. Voltage: 120 V single-phase. Dimming: TRIAC / MLV compatible. Warranty: typically 5 years.

    Commercial — 277 V wired, 0-10V dimmed

Commercial buildings run 277 V single-phase or 120/277 V dual-input drivers. 0-10V dimming is the volume dimming protocol; DALI is a distant second on high-end office. Panels (Lithonia CPX/CPANL, RAB troffers), track lighting (Cooper, Hubbell, Keystone), and downlights (Ledvance, Keystone) carry the office market. Emergency lighting (WAC, RAB, Feit) and exit signs (WAC, RAB, Satco) are separately spec'd. Warranty: typically 5 – 10 years.

    Industrial — 480 V high-bay, IP65 exterior

Warehouses and manufacturing run 277 V or 480 V high-bay fixtures at 15,000 – 60,000 lumens. Hyperikon, TCP, Satco, and RAB dominate the volume; MaxLite and Feit cover the mid-range. Exterior industrial (shoebox, wall pack, canopy, area) is wet-location UL listed and typically IP65+ sealed. Drivers are wide-input (100 – 277 V or 277 – 480 V). Warranty: typically 10 years, with 5-year driver warranty called out separately.

How to spec a commercial LED lighting fixture in 60 seconds

Identify the fixture family — interior panel, exterior wall pack, high-bay, or downlight.

Interior panel / troffer: Lithonia CPX, CPANL; Ledvance; RAB. High-bay: Hyperikon, TCP, MaxLite, Satco. Exterior wall pack: RAB, Cooper, Hubbell, Ledvance. Downlight: Ledvance, Keystone, Lithonia. This alone collapses the 357-SKU catalog to a shortlist of five.

    Confirm input voltage — 120 V residential, 277 V commercial, or 480 V industrial.

    Residential: 120 V. Commercial: 120 V, 277 V, or 120/277 V universal. Industrial: 277 V or 480 V. Universal-input drivers (120–277 V or 277–480 V) simplify BOM but cost 10–15% more. Verify against the fixture's driver spec — not all Cooper or Hubbell high-bays include 480 V input.

Set the lumen target — foot-candles × area / coefficient of utilization.

    Warehouse: 30 fc average = 25,000 – 50,000 lm per fixture at 20 ft mounting. Office: 40 fc = 4,000 – 5,000 lm panels at 9 ft ceiling. Retail: 60 – 100 fc high-visibility zones. Parking lot: 3 – 5 fc average = 15,000 – 30,000 lm shoebox at 25 ft pole.

    Match color temperature — 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K, or 5000 K.

    Residential / hospitality: 2700 K – 3000 K warm. Office / retail: 3500 K – 4000 K neutral. Industrial / warehouse: 5000 K cool white. Some Lithonia CPX and RAB shoebox SKUs offer switchable 3500/4000/5000 K to reduce SKU sprawl.

Verify dimming and control — 0-10V, TRIAC, DALI, or none.

Commercial standard: 0-10V dimming with 1% or 10% low-end. Residential: TRIAC / MLV. High-end office: DALI (Cooper Control, Lutron QS integration). Verify the fixture's driver includes the dim protocol you spec'd — non-dim drivers cost less but limit control retrofits.

Contractor pricing model + freight tiers

PES Supply operates the same three-tier contractor pricing model on LED lighting as on inverters, batteries, and solar hardware — tied to registered installer status, monthly volume, and pallet-quantity purchase.

Tier Who qualifies Discount vs public list Freight Payment terms
Tier 1 — Contractor Verified installer, EIN + resale certificate on file 10 – 22% Ground or LTL, quoted at checkout Net-30 on approved credit, or card
Tier 2 — Volume dealer $25k+ per calendar quarter across categories 15 – 28% Freight offset on qualifying orders Net-30 standard, Net-45 approved
Tier 3 — Pallet / bulk retrofit Full pallet or 100+ fixture single PO 20 – 35% + custom freight Pallet freight quote (LTL / FTL) Net-30 to Net-60, EPC terms case-by-case

LED lighting discount tiers are meaningfully deeper than inverters because commercial lighting retrofits move on pallet-quantity purchase (a 200-fixture warehouse retrofit typically clears Tier 3). Fluorescent-to-LED conversion projects, parking lot retrofits, and multi-site rebranding are the volume drivers.

When to spec each lighting brand

    Lithonia (Acuity Brands)

Spec when: The commercial troffer volume leader. Any office retrofit that spec'd 2×4 fluorescent goes to Lithonia CPX or CPANL first.

The Lithonia CPX Series (Switchable Panel 3500/4000/5000 K) is the workhorse — one SKU covers three color temperatures for maintenance simplicity. CPANL is the switchable brother. 2×2 and 2×4 versions cover 99% of the office panel market. Volume PES SKUs include the 2×4 CPX Switchable. Contractor price band $85–$119 per fixture.

    Cooper Lighting

Spec when: The exterior area/wall pack specialist. Any parking lot or campus retrofit lands here or at RAB.

Cooper Lighting (part of Eaton) is the North American shoebox / wall pack / roadway leader — every fixture is UL wet-location listed, IP65 sealed, and available in 120/277 V or 480 V. Track lighting and post-top for commercial exteriors round out the range. Volume PES SKUs cover 74 W – 936 W ratings in shoebox, exit sign, post top, and track fixtures.

    Hubbell

Spec when: The premium commercial linear + flood specialist — heavy-duty industrial and university campus.

Hubbell fixtures are the choice on 5 – 10 year warranty projects where installers want long-life drivers and heat-sink robustness. Volume PES SKUs cover strip lights, track lights, flood lights, post-top fixtures, and canopy — 74 W – 969 W ratings. Contractor price bands run $67 – $2,488 depending on wattage class.

    RAB Lighting

Spec when: The mid-priced exterior + emergency workhorse. Best cost-per-lumen on shoebox and troffer.

RAB (Ross Amory Baker) covers troffers, emergency lights, post tops, canopy, and shoebox — with a strong reputation for driver reliability at commodity prices. Volume PES SKUs include emergency 34,383 lm troffer and 285 W canopy fixtures. Contractor price bands $199 – $2,338.

    WAC Lighting

Spec when: The specialty interior brand — bollards, exit signs, emergency, linear.

WAC Lighting owns the specialty interior segment — decorative bollards for lobby / retail, low-bay linear for retail, exit signs, emergency lights. Cool-white or warm color options. Bollard 2700 K, low bay, exit sign dimmable, and emergency light dimmable across the range.

    Sylvania (Osram)

Spec when: European engineering, US-manufactured. Parking garage and bollard leader.

Sylvania (Osram brand in the US) owns the parking garage segment — 21,648 lm bollard, 693 W parking garage dimmable, 828 W bollard 6500 K. Also wall packs and post-tops. Volume PES SKUs span $7 – $2,148 depending on wattage and dim spec.

Feit Electric, Ledvance, Hyperikon, MaxLite, TCP, Keystone, Satco

Spec when: The mid-tier volume brands — retail retrofits, low-bay, high-bay, downlight.

These seven brands cover the mid-tier volume where price-per-lumen and 5-year warranty are the dominant selection criteria. Feit Electric on exit signs and low bay, Ledvance (formerly Osram Sylvania) on emergency + downlight + panel + wall pack, Hyperikon on high-bay + area + track + linear, MaxLite on emergency + step + linear + flood + bollard, TCP on corn bulb + low bay + exit + track + shoebox, Keystone on track + shoebox + downlight + bollard + panel, and Satco on panel + post top + track + high bay 480 V. Combined they cover most commercial and industrial mid-market applications.

What direct-distributor status gets you at PES

The four commitments that matter to lighting contractors

    • Stock — Louisville, KY. LED fixtures ship same-day for orders placed before 2 PM ET on in-stock SKUs. Interior fixtures (Lithonia CPX/CPANL, WAC bollards, Ledvance downlights) ship UPS or LTL. Exterior fixtures (RAB shoebox, Cooper roadway, Hubbell flood) palletize LTL freight class 85. Bulk retrofits (100+ fixtures single PO) always FTL pallet.
    • Warranty registration handled at ship. For all authorized-distributor brands (Lithonia, Cooper, Hubbell, RAB, Ledvance, Sylvania), PES auto-registers the S/N to the installer account of record so the warranty term (5 – 10 years depending on brand and fixture class) banks from install date.
    • Photometric support at spec time. For layout-critical projects (warehouse high-bay, parking lot shoebox), PES's tech line will run an AGi32 or Visual Lighting Design photometric on Cooper, Hubbell, and Lithonia fixtures to confirm foot-candle coverage before you PO.
    • Compatibility guaranteed at spec time. Emergency drivers, occupancy sensors, and 0-10V dimmer compatibility are verified on the contractor portal Compatibility Checker — critical when mixing brands on a retrofit.

Which LED lighting brands does PES Supply distribute directly?

PES Supply is a direct distributor for Lithonia (Acuity Brands), Cooper Lighting, Hubbell, RAB Lighting, WAC Lighting, Sylvania (Osram), Feit Electric, Ledvance, Hyperikon, MaxLite, TCP, Keystone, Satco, and Westinghouse. Combined we stock 357 LED lighting SKUs across interior, exterior, high-bay, low-bay, panel, downlight, wall pack, area, canopy, and controls.

What's the biggest brand for commercial troffers and panels?

Lithonia (Acuity Brands) owns the commercial troffer / CPANL / CPX panel segment by unit volume. The CPX Switchable Panel is the maintenance-simplification standard — one SKU covers 3500/4000/5000 K, reducing warehouse inventory and rework.

Which brands cover exterior area, wall pack, and roadway lighting?

Cooper Lighting, Hubbell, and RAB Lighting are the volume brands for exterior area (shoebox), wall pack, and roadway/cobra head. All three are UL wet-location listed and typically IP65+ sealed. Sylvania (Osram) covers parking garage and bollard fixtures specifically.

    What input voltages are supported?

    Residential: 120 V single-phase. Commercial: 120 V, 277 V, or 120/277 V universal. Industrial: 277 V or 480 V. Universal-input drivers (120–277 V and 277–480 V) are available across most brands at a 10–15% premium.

What warranty terms should I expect?

Residential fixtures: typically 5 years. Commercial fixtures: 5 – 10 years (Cooper, Hubbell, Lithonia, RAB). Industrial fixtures: 10 years on the fixture, 5 years on the driver called out separately. PES auto-registers the S/N to your account at ship.

    Do you offer photometric support?

Yes — for layout-critical projects (warehouse high-bay, parking lot shoebox), PES's tech line runs an AGi32 or Visual Lighting Design photometric on Cooper, Hubbell, and Lithonia fixtures to confirm foot-candle coverage before PO. Included at Tier 1+ contractor accounts.

How do I open a contractor account for lighting?

Same registration path as the rest of the PES catalog — axis.pesdistribution.com/portal-registration. EIN + resale certificate required. Verification typically completes inside 4 business hours (Eastern) and gives you Tier 1 contractor pricing across all 357 lighting SKUs plus access to the portal's Compatibility Checker for driver + dim compatibility verification.
