    Do I need to buy a BYD inverter with a BYD Battery-Box?

    No. BYD does not manufacture inverters for the Battery-Box line — the system is designed to pair with third-party hybrid inverters. This gives you flexibility to choose Fronius, GoodWe, SMA, Sungrow, or other compatible brands. Always verify compatibility via BYD's published matrix.

    Can I add more capacity to my BYD Battery-Box later?
